Bob Drake, March 11, 2022: "Took a tour of the bullet holes in the 336th Rite Aid tonight. One of the employees was nice enough to give me a tour of the damage done to the pharmacy. Everybody was robbed that was in the pharmacy line. Talked to several of the employees about the importance of the vote coming up in November. The cashier described The shooters as kids.Meanwhile king county juvenile Prosecutor Jimmy Hung says most of the criminal activity in our region and city is not due to underage adults. Mr. Hung also told me incarcerating juveniles does not work! My question is does not work for who, the victims?"

Carolyn Hoover, March 7, 2022: "So the whole 'NIMBY' catchphrase to make people shut up literally became a reality today. When out the kitchen window in the far corner of the backyard was a tent being erected by...I'll just say hobos. No joke! Couldn't have had a nicer police officer come help with this situation. Thank you FWPD Officer Ben."

Business Owner, February 24, 2022: "Two tweekers came in this morning to the restaurant when we opened with these two bags of loot from Ross that they were cutting the tags off in the parking lot. The male went in the bathroom and was in there 22 minutes before I told him to get out. After coming out he was higher than a kite and we found a used hypodermic needle in the stall. Called FW police and had them removed. ... Sadly, just an average day with tweakers around here."

These photos have all been taken by citizens of Federal Way going about their daily lives. This crime doesn't "just affect big box stores. with tons of insurance." (Not that that is okay, either.) It affects the businesses of individual entrepreneurs, immigrants, families, homeowners, renters, shoppers...everyone who lives or works in Federal Way.
